DESCRIPTION OF OUR PTA POSITIONS

President - The PTA President presides over meetings, the Board of Directors, and Executive Committee; coordinate work for the purpose of the PTA's mission; serve as a point of contact for the school's administration; represent the PTA at any outside meetings; and working with the Treasurer provide financial oversight.
VP of Membership - The VP of Membership runs membership drives for community members to join and to promote an understanding about the PTA; keeps the membership database updated; and provides assistance for PTA sponsored events.
VP of Fundraising and Programs - The VP of Fundraising and Programs utilizes PTA volunteers to assist with organizing fundraising to support our broader mission, and events to bring together the Cloverly community outside school hours.
VP of Administration - The VP of Admin acts as an aide to the President; oversees the by-laws; coordinates with the school PTA sponsored clubs; and provides assistance for events including booking rental space.
Recording Secretary - The Recording Secretary is responsible for recording, filing and presenting PTA meeting minutes; taking attendance and verifying paid members for votes; keeping copies of financial records presented at meetings; and provides assistance for PTA sponsored events.
Corresponding Secretary - The Corresponding Secretary prepares communications and disseminates information as directed by the Board of Directors including, meeting announcements and promotions of events; works with appointed person on monthly newsletter; keeps the website updated; and provides assistance for PTA sponsored events.
Treasurer - The Treasurer is responsible for fulfilling reimbursement disbursements, reviewing bank statements, and providing routine updates on the PTA's finances to the broader community. A background with finances is beneficial, but not required.
